One Birdcage Walk completes next stage of refurbishment
Located on St James's Park in the heart of Westminster, the Edwardian elegance of the One Birdcage Walk venue has always offered clients a wonderfully accessible and intimate setting for meetings, conferences and events.
During the month of August, the venue successfully completed the latest stage of its four year refurbishment programme which included major changes to two of our key event and conference spaces - Council Room and Christopher Hinton Room - and improvements to our meeting rooms and public areas within the venue.
Our Edwardian styled Council Room has been expertly restored, with its antique oak panelling and ornate plaster ceiling refurbished and refreshed, and new carpet and lighting installed. The elegantly decorated venue space offers one of the best exquisite venues for private and corporate events in Westminster.
With panoramic views across St James's Park and the beach volleyball venue at Horse Guards Parade, the Christopher Hinton Room has been refreshed with new carpet and carbon friendly lighting fitted, and the state-of-the-art audio visual equipment you would expect from a contemporary venue.
The public areas on the ground floor and first floor of the venue have also been refurbished with new carpets, painting works and environmentally friendly, carbon reducing lighting installed, reinforcing the venue's style of classic Edwardian with a contemporary twist. The venue's meeting rooms have had new furniture introduced to enhance the comfort of all our delegates.
